The weather has finally warmed up in the northern plains, I thought 80 degrees would never get here!! As a family, we celebrated the end of school and the start of summer on Friday with a bonfire with our neighbors where we roasted lots of smores and the kids had a pretty intense road hockey game (it lasted over three hours!). On Saturday, we headed out to get Tucker his shirt for baseball (it starts this week) and the kids had sleep overs with their friends. On Sunday, we took a long bike ride down the Greenway,a trail system that we can catch a block from our house that winds along the Red River and can take you anywhere in Grand Forks. We followed it to Lincoln Park and had a picnic lunch in the sun. After lunch, we headed a few blocks west to one of the cities spray parks to cool off before heading home. Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend!!!
